Our doctors and consulting physicians are privileged to take part in the intimate, sacred process of a patient's healing — the secret miracle of medicine. The enormous capacity of their hearts to love and care for humanity is the astounding, audacious miracle of the AIMS Foundation.
Built on the IRM Medicine® we pioneered, the Foundation exists for the people the system gives up on — the chronically ill turned away, the athletes their leagues forgot, the veterans who carry the weight of service home, and the families who simply can't afford another option. For them, we provide treatment at no cost, and we fund the research that moves care forward.

The AIMS Foundation — Advanced Integrative Medicine and Surgery Foundation — is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3).
Our mission is to advance the field of Integrative, Regenerative & Metabolic Medicine: a science-driven approach that engages the body's own physiological mechanisms to address the underlying causes of disease and to restore health, wellness, and vitality.
In furtherance of this mission, the Foundation:
- i.Conducts and funds scientific research and technology development in integrative, regenerative, and metabolic medicine.
- ii.Sponsors and supports clinical studies, including studies conducted under the oversight of an Institutional Review Board.
- iii.Provides educational programs to healthcare professionals, patients, and the public.
- iv.Provides charitable financial assistance for medically necessary care to patients who cannot afford it and who face serious, chronic, or catastrophic conditions.

He established the Foundation as a mission vehicle to fund research, support patient care, and underwrite access for those unable to afford it.

IRM Medicine® is a proprietary, science-driven methodology of healing, developed at AMA. Rather than suppressing symptoms from the outside, it engages the body's own innate mechanisms to restore health at its source — healing, as we describe it, from within.
For patients who have spent years managing broken physiology with conventional treatments, the experience can feel like a rebirth — an ongoing restoration they can feel taking place within their own bodies.

The principle
Physiological Purposeful Integration™

Standing with the firefighters who stand for us.
Firefighters face extraordinary occupational exposure to toxins and chronic oxidative stress — a hidden, long-term cost of protecting the rest of us. In a clinical study conducted under formal Institutional Review Board oversight, the Foundation is supporting research into glutathione, one of the body's most important antioxidants, and its role in firefighter health and recovery.

What does IRB oversight mean?+
An Institutional Review Board independently reviews research involving human participants to protect their rights, safety, and wellbeing. IRB oversight is a hallmark of ethical, credible clinical research.
Who carries out the research?+
Studies are conducted in collaboration with qualified medical providers, research institutions, and independent investigators — with the Foundation providing sponsorship, administration, and support.
How is research funded?+
Through grants, partner foundations, and individual giving. Restricted gifts can be directed specifically toward the Foundation's research program.
Research activities described here are investigational and are conducted under Institutional Review Board (ethics-board) oversight. They are not a treatment and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
